What are dental implants?

What will happen?

Examination
On your first visit to the practice you will receive an examination to make sure your teeth and gums are healthy and ready for further treatment.

Your options and a unique plan
Dr Tarrant will then discuss what options are available to you, before drawing up a unique treatment plan, giving you an idea of the extent of the work required plus the cost of the treatment.

From a simple fit to bone grafts
This will range from a simple fit to more involved procedures including bone grafts and sinus lifts; all of which can be carried out at the practice.

A lasting improvement
Each treatment plan will outline what procedures you will need to undertake in order to achieve this lasting improvement to your oral health.
Bone grafting used with implant therapy
Patient information is available on minor bone augmentation, sinus floor elevation, extraction sockets and ridge preservation (Geistlich Bio-Gide Shape). Ask Dr Tarrant at your consultation.
