Dr Patrick Tarrant B.D.S

Dr Patrick Tarrant graduated from the University of Bristol in 1991. He has spent considerable time over the past 25 years gaining postgraduate study in the USA, Germany, Italy and here in London.

This education has left him experienced in all aspects of dentistry, in particular implant dentistry, bone grafting procedures and aesthetic dentistry. This is a continual and ongoing process allowing Dr Tarrant and his team to provide up to date modern techniques in a traditional setting here on Harley Street.

As a member of CODE, we are kept up to date with the latest changes to regulations and guidelines.

    Infection prevention

    We follow the latest infection prevention guidelines (including those from NHS England).

    Sterile instruments

    We use dental instruments that are single use, or are sterilised after each patient use.

    Clean work areas

    We decontaminate work areas including the dental chair, hand held equipment and cupboard handles, in between patients.

    Personal hygiene

    We maintain a high standard of personal hygiene including clinical clothing and the restricted wearing of jewellery.

    Water quality

    We monitor practice water for quality. Dental unit waterlines are disinfected and kept clear.

    Safeguarding

    All our team members are trained in safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults and follow the practice safeguarding procedures, which are regularly monitored and reviewed.

Cutting edge technology

  • Plasma arc air-steriliser

    On continuously during surgery hours. It passes the air volume in the surgery 9x per minute sterilising it at each pass and is 99.9999% virucidal and bacteriacidal.

  • UVC air and surface steriliser

    Used before and after every patient. In conjunction with our regular deep cleaning and instrument sterilisation, a 5 minute cycle of UVC is carried out on all visible physical surfaces and the air contained within the surgery.

  • Cattani pump

    A new generation suction pump with a suction flow rate of 916 litre per minute. This is more than twice the flow rate recommended and effectively reduces any aerosol generated during dental procedures by 95%.

  • Biomet 3i implants

    We use Biomet 3i for our high quality implants, with 3i SureSeal Technology to assist in achieving long-term aesthetic results.
